N°01 The program

What if an AIRCRAFT could learn to FLY better?

PsiWings Aerospace is a young experimental aeronautics R&D program exploring how small electric aircraft can become more efficient, more intelligent, and more aware of their own condition. Our journey begins with Kyte — an evolving experimental aircraft platform.

CHAPTER 01
— First principles

Flight is an energy problem.

Step 01
Power
P = V · I

A battery holds finite energy. Every watt the aircraft draws is voltage times current — and every watt costs flight time.

Watts · volts × amps
Step 02
Lift
L = q S CL

The wing converts forward motion into upward force. Air density, wing area, and shape decide how efficiently that happens.

Newtons · airspeed² × wing
Step 03
Drag
D = q S CD

Air resists the aircraft's passage. Drag is what the motor must overcome — and what steals endurance from every mission.

Newtons · what the propeller pays
Step 04
Endure
E = ∫ P dt

Total energy consumed is power integrated over time. Endurance is the difference between what the battery holds and what the aircraft spends.

Watt-hours · time in the air
The question is not whether an aircraft can fly.
The question is how intelligently it can use the energy available to it.
CHAPTER 02
— The Kyte program

One aircraft.
Four years.
Four generations of questions.

Each Kyte should answer a question the previous Kyte could not.

CURRENT DEVELOPMENT

The first experimental aircraft in the PsiWings program.

Kyte X1 exists to build a reliable relationship between aircraft configuration, flight condition, electrical power consumption, and real-world endurance — before we make any bigger claims.

CHAPTER 04
— From aircraft to technology

Products emerge
from questions.

01STAGE / QUESTION
Ask

Every project starts with a specific aerospace question — written in an engineering notebook, not a whiteboard brainstorm.

02STAGE / BUILD
Build

A Kyte generation is designed to attack that question — hardware, sensors, flight envelope, all shaped around the problem.

03STAGE / MEASURE
Measure

Real flight data turns into models. Models turn into algorithms. The aircraft becomes an instrument of learning.

04STAGE / EMERGE
Emerge

If the answer is useful to others, the technology becomes a product. Not before. Not the reverse direction.

PsiWings does not begin
by deciding what product to sell.

We begin by identifying an important aerospace question. If solving that question creates something useful to others, that technology can become a product.

Every commercial technology in our roadmap traces back to a specific experiment on a specific Kyte — not to a whiteboard brainstorm.

CHAPTER 05
— Long-term product family

Aircraft become
the source. Technology becomes the outcome.

Every great aircraft
began with a question.

The questions at PsiWings are still young.
That is exactly why the journey is exciting.
